Our Mission
MassReady is committed to be being the resource for public health, public safety, healthcare and emergency management professionals in Massachusetts by supplying accurate and timely information to them and by presenting solutions to complex matters they face.

Josh established MassReady out of a passion for emergency planning and training, and has cultivated the organization into a multi-service agency, working with the needs of local communities to prepare for all types of emergencies and disasters.

Staff members of MassReady have been serving the Massachusetts in public safety and emergency planning for over ten years. The team has been working and training with communities across Massachusetts, and continues professional affiliations in fire service, hazardous materials response, emergency medical services, communications, public health and emergency management. The ability of the organization to draw from real-life emergency response experience and local training makes MassReady an excellent candidate for assisting both public and private organizations with their disaster training and exercise needs.

Our Service
MassReady provides educational seminars, trainings, and designs and facilitates exercises that encourage collaboration to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters. Since 2002, the MassReady team has hosted over a dozen exercises for first responders. These exercises have ranged from single community tabletop drills, to multiple community functional exercises. One exercise held in April 2006 boasted over 500 participants at three, simultaneously functioning sites. In October 2006, MassReady coordinated an exercise that tested a local hospital's ability to manage a sustained flu pandemic based on new protocols released from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. This was the first exercise testing the new guidelines anywhere in the Commonwealth. MassReady has successfully trained over 2000 first responders and healthcare providers.

MassReady provides services to public safety departments, healthcare facilities, and public schools that must maintain compliance with state, federal and accreditation entities in the area of emergency management. These organizations are under particular scrutiny following the events of Hurricane Katrina and while they prepare for a potential inundation of patients during a flu pandemic. MassReady provides mandated training, conducts and documents exercises according to specific standards for submission to a variety of agencies. When required, MassReady will document exercises according to the Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP).

Let MassReady plan your next exercise so you can focus on your disaster plan - not your inbox.
